I Hate Violet Palmer

Yeah I'm a pissed off Knick fan who has to go to work tomorrow on Monday morning, but I have a few things to say about Violet Palmer being the absolute worst official in the NBA. She seems more concerned with the demonstrative referee gestures than she does with actually making the call correct. She reminds me of a baseball umpire who enjoys emphatically ringing up batters on strike three.

Specifically tonight, she blew a call in the 2nd quarter by calling the Knicks for offensive basket interference. The call was later overturned by Joe Derossa, an official who actually knows what he's doing. More importantly, with under a minute left in regulation the Knicks forced Josh Howard to miss a shot and there was a fray for the loose ball which was eventually CLEARLY knocked out by the Mavericks who had 3 players around the ball to just one Knick. (Quentin Richardson) So right in front of the Knicks bench she gave the Mavericks an extra possession and they took advantage by tying the game. I have never heard anything positive said about Violet in my entire life other than the fact that she is the first female referee.

Violet Palmer sucks and I hope she has no more Knick games left on her undeserving schedule of NBA games to ref. If you're still unclear as to what i think of Violet Palmer, ask Don Imus...He'll clear that one up for you.
