Zach Randolph Returns Tonight

Never liked him, never will. The guy is the epitome of what I loathe in most athletes today. On the other hand, he can flat out score and will probably torch Lee and the Knicks for a nice 35 and 18 stat line. Clippers suck, but they are 1-0 against the Knicks so you never know what could happen tonight at the Garden where recently the Knicks have dropped to a .500 mark (18-18). I would expect boos to reign over him, but given the Knicks recent past, he might possess brighter memories.

  1. I couldn't really root for Z-Bo either, but I definitely think they would have won a few more games with him. He was and would still be today, the only Knick player who can create his own shot within 15 feet of the hoop. The Knicks struggle at the end of games because they don't have a way to get an easy baskets. The Knicks have lost a lot of close, winnable games this year and for all his deficiencies I think he would have helped them. With that said, I am glad he's gone. Between him and Jamal, there was just something about them that I couldn't root for. I can vibe with the Knicks more now. Also, the contract could have been a 2010-killer, so even though Donnie didn't get much in return, it was a good deal all in all.
