Stephon Getting his Make-Up Done

Probably on his way to Beantown, wanted to look good for all those Mass-holes....good luck in Boston, I hope you sink that ship too.

Steph to the Celtics As Soon As Friday

The word is, he might even play Friday night, isn't this ironic; during the preseason, Marbury and Celtics' guard Eddie House got into a shouting match during a game. Marbury was continuously calling him a 'Bum and House responded by calling Marbury a 'Loser'.

KnicksBlog had the report:

Via the Boston Globe:

“…Stephon Marbury, who was finally released by the Knicks on Tuesday, is expected to sign for the veteran’s minimum with the Celtics once he clears waivers.

Marbury, a two-time All-Star, is expected to clear waivers on Friday morning.

He will reportedly sign for the prorated veteran minimum of $1.3 million to join the defending-champions.

“I’m blessed to be able to move on with my career,” said Marbury via e-mail. “I’m excited about the new beginning…”

So far the Knicks have played some of the best teams in the NBA very well at home. The Magic certainly qualify as one of the NBA's best thus far posting a 41-15 record. Last week Dwight Howard stated that he will try to do something special tonight at the Garden to follow up what Lebron and Kobe did, just 3 weeks ago. This is the first of four meetings between the two teams, last year Orlando won the series 3-1.

NBA Awards Watch Has Nate as 6th Man of the Year

It's really been an electrifying month for Nate Robinson and he has been able to channel his exuberant personality into an extremely affective but more importantly, consistent style of play.
ESPN's Maurice Brooks thinks Nate is the current front runner for the 6th man of the year award.

He wrote in his column:
Not only has the newly crowned dunk king been performing better than any other reserve over the past six games (averaging 30 points per game), he has played as well as anyone in the league. He had 41 points and eight rebounds against the Pacers on Monday -- the fourth time in the past six games that he has scored at least 30.
He redicted other awards also, check them out HERE

Knicks: Playoff Push

Wassup folks, been away for a while but you all know.....Anyways, where were we? It's been a strange season thus far and i don't think any of us are used to being somewhat inspired by this team. We've got 24 wins with over 25 left to play and a legitimate shot at making the playoffs. According to reports Marbury is finally a goner and now we can move on fully.

It's been a season of good wins mixed in with disappointing losses. the undeniable fact is that we have all seen vast improvement. An abilty to comeback in games as well as a contagious team camaraderie that Knicks fans havent seen since 1999.

2 weeks ago, Nate Robinson representing the Knicks to the fullest in the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest in Phoenix Arizona. He won the contest and has been on a tear ever since. In fact Nate, David Lee, and Wilson Chandler have been three extreme bright spots of this season. Nate and Lee need to stay here after next season and Chandler needs to find some consistency, but on the positive side, they are all 25 years of age or younger and are leading the team possibly into the playoffs.

Tomorrow night proves to be a true test as the Knicks try and re-do the dreadful 'dream-week.' With three games this week all at home the Knicks would love a 3-0 mark. Already taking care of game 1 by beating Indiana, they will see Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic tomorrow night followed by the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday. The Knicks are 0-3 vs the Sixers this year and the sixers currently hold the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference.

Let's see what happens and......Go Knicks!

See Ya Steph!
